Scardey Cat Challenge #2: Upcycled Smock

For my next challenge, I am determined to make a smock for Turtle by upcycling (love that term) an adult shirt.  I got the pattern from here .  Don't forget to visit the creator at indietutes if you are looking for a great creative blog!

My local Goodwill does $.25 clothing on Tuesdays, so I went last week and chose a few shirts that I thought would make great smocks for Turtle.  So far I have cut out and pieced together the pattern and cut the seams on the shirt.  Next will be pinning the pattern before I *gasp* cut the darn thing out!   I'm prepared to be brave, after all I only paid one quarter for the fabric!
