Happy New Year!


Happy New Year, Lady in Party Hat with Champagne



As you may have guessed from the last post, I have begun the new year with my nose buried in a book.  You see last year my pal ms. caboo challenged herself to read 100 books in a year.  I thought it sounded like something I can do, and certainly less physically challenging than preparing for a half-marathon.

So I'm going to go for it!  I'm off to a good start, but I'm sure that my pace will slow down a lot with school starting back up on Monday.  The Light of My Life was a total dear & got me a NookColor for Christmas, so I'll be able to carry a ton of books with me while I'm out & about.  Care to join the challenge?

    I love the background! I contemplated using it, but went the Waterhouse way instead for my book blog. Glad you're on board with the challenge! Hope to get cracking this weekend.
